How we use personal data

What this policy covers

This policy covers the website www.delori.io. It describes what personal data we handle when you visit the website or e-mail us, why we do it and how long we keep it. It does not cover Delori’s products and services.

When you visit the website

Like any website, ours receives some technical data from your browser: your IP address, the type of browser and device you use, and the page you ask for. Our hosting provider Cloudflare uses this data to deliver the website to you and to protect it against attacks and misuse.

We don’t keep our own logs of visits.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the website is used, for example which pages people read and how fast they load. It records:

  • which page is visited and which website linked to it
  • which country the visit comes from
  • the type of device, browser and operating system
  • how quickly the page loads

We only see totals, never individual visitors. The statistics don’t use cookies, don’t store anything on your device and don’t track you across other websites.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website.

Cookies

The website sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing on your device, so there is no cookie banner to accept.

If Cloudflare suspects an attack, it may ask your browser to pass a short security check and then set a cookie to remember that you passed. That cookie is used only for security.

When you e-mail us

When you e-mail us, we receive your name, your e-mail address and what you write, along with anything in your e-mail signature, such as your company, job title and phone number.

We use this to answer you and to follow up on your matter, for example a demo, a price quote or a partnership. Our e-mail is provided by Google (Google Workspace).

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us. If you ask about becoming a customer, we also handle your data to take the steps you ask for before an agreement.

How long we keep your data

We keep e-mails for as long as we need them to handle your matter or for as long as we work together, and then delete them.

If an e-mail becomes part of our accounting records, for example because it is part of an agreement or an order, we keep it for seven years, as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires.

Visitor statistics are kept only as totals that we can’t link to you.

Who else handles your data

Two service providers handle personal data for us, under data processing agreements:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts the website and provides the visitor statistics
  • Google, which provides our e-mail

Both are based in the USA, so your data may be handled outside the EU. Those transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which both companies have joined, and by the EU’s standard contractual clauses.

We don’t sell your personal data or share it for marketing.

Links to other websites

This policy no longer applies once you leave delori.io, for example through a link to LinkedIn or one of our product sites. Read their own information on how they handle personal data.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the website or the way we handle personal data changes, and change the date above.

Your rights

GDPR, the EU data protection law, gives you these rights over your personal data.

To use any of these rights, e-mail us. We answer within one month, or tell you if we need more time.

If you think we handle your personal data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
